Four couples got a chance to meet up and say howdy at the Denver RV show Friday, Mar 2. It was a great opportunity to meet some new folks that have joined the Heartland Owners Club! George and Maureen Poirier have been long time members of the club, but this is the first time I have had the chance to meet them in person. Peter and Liane Vonfeldt, and Don and Monica Ashby are new members. Don and I share an interest in astronomy. We chatted about upcoming events, camping this spring, and the Camp Care weekend coming up at the KOA near Colorado City over Mother's Day. Geore regaled us with some of their adventures during their trips to Alaska - adventures I would just as soon not have happen to us!
It was just a short get together - but we are already looking forward to these folks joining the rest of the gang for our Rallys!
