I have 3 older 75 watt panels ganged together over the garage. Could have fit 1 more there, and a few more scattered around up front.

I have 6 185W panels up on the roof with a little more room to spare.

Wow - I imagine the size of THAT wire that brings current down to the controller and battery bank.

Are you in series with the panels? and run MPPT controller?

EDIT: Crap, guess I should have just looked at your sig - nice setup......

Take care,
Brian

Actually it is only 3 runs of 10ga twin lead. I chose to wire pairs in series to lower wire cost and maximize charging on overcast days. I'm only feeding just over 4Ah@90V per run. The Outback Controller steps the 90V down to the ideal input voltage/amperage depending on state of charge and battery temp and feeds it to the batteries with a short 4ga wire.

My photo tread is here...//heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/26013-Took-delivery-of-our-300C-finally!
