I have a Jensen AWM 910 raidio and all of the speakers quit working. The unit turns on and works but no noise out if the speakers. Any one else had this problem?

Hi kc57,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

Not sure if your Jensen has other inputs, but you might check the remote control for a "scource" , "input" or some other button that will allow your radio to be switched so it is just an amplifier for another unit like the TV or a dvd player. It might be just waiting for some input from something else. Maybe someone with the same unit will jump in soon.

Enjoy the forum.

. . . and make sure the speakers are turned on. Many of these units have push buttons that turn individual sets of speakers on and off.

We have a Jensen unit also and we are not happy with it. Speakers are crackling, some don't even work and now there is disc stuck in it. Had to pull out the fuse to keep it from constantly trying to play and it will not eject. What I want to do is pull this entire system with the wiring out and put in our VCR/DVD combo in there and just get a regular AM/FM radio. Dealership is ordering a new one but we talked about and really don't think we even want it anymore. Anyone know how hard it is to pull all those wires out and get rid of them?

The hardest part is making sure you label the speaker wires to not get them mixed up.. The Jensen was a good radio it's just that not many DVD players will last more than a few years... Kenwood, pioneer, jvc, Panasonic all make great car radios/DVD players...
