Add a rear bumper to Bighorn 3670?

Our 2010 3670RL does not have a rear bumper but does have the brackets a bumper could be attached to. My DH is thinking about doing this and we are both curious if anyone has done this to their rig?

Those brackets might be for the short-lived bicycle rack option that was available a while ago. My 2009 BH3670 does not have any brackets back there.

The brackets are for a thailer hitch for a bike rack to be attached to.
