Voyager rear camera issues

We just went through the process of installing the Voyager camera/monitor combination (WVOS511). While parked, or traveling at 30 MPH, we have a solid signal with two to three bars. While going faster, however, the signal goes intermittent. With all of the positive reports here, I was surprised at this lack of performance.

I called technical support at ASA today. They tell me that the camera and monitor need "line of sight" to communicate. As to why it works flawlessly when stopped, they tell me that the signal is reflecting off of some object, but that is lost when moving. To their credit, they are sending me an extension cable for the antenna.

For those of you that have had success at installing these, or have had them installed at the factory as an option, have you had this problem? Do you have a remote antenna to make them work?

We have a 2011 BH 3670RL Thanks.

Issue solved. I discovered that I needed a better ground plane. I connected an expanded ground wire and all is well.
