Crock Pot/Slow Cooker Cake
I used a 4 qt. slow cooker.
Cooking time varies according to your cooking method.
It seems to take longer in the older slow cooker.
It will set up like a cake, but you should see a lot of moisture on edges.

1. 1 pkg. of German Choclate Cake
2. 3 Lg. eggs (slightly beaten)
3. 1 3.4 oz pkg. Chocolate instant puidding
4. 1 cup Sour Cream
5. 1/3 cup butter, melted
6. 1 tsp. vanilla
7. 3 and 1/4 cup milk (divided) (2 and 1 1/4)
8. 1 3.4 oz. pkg. chocolate cook and serve pudding
9. 1 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
10. 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet choc. chips
11. 1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Mix cake mix and next 5 ingredients, plus 1 1/4 of the milk.
Pour into slow cooker/crock pot. Heat remaining 2 cups of milk in a
saucepan til bubbly, do not boil. Remove from heat.
Sprinkle cook and serve pudding over cake mixture then pour hot milk over pudding.

Cover and cook for 3.5 hours, again this will vary with what cooker you are using.
Turn off cooker and sprinkle with chips-marshmallows and pecans.
Cover and let set for 15 minutes. //heartlandowners.org/mhtml:{9B655292-B0A5-482F-8246-2E861295F301}mid://00000321/!x-usc:http://mail.yimg.com/nq/cg/a/images/tsmileys2/01.gif Vanilla ice cream is great with this.

Enjoy, Larry and Judy Haines

Judy says she would use medium setting on crock pot with those settings. Hers has 2,4,6,8,10 hour settings.

This sounds wonderful and we all love our Crock pots..
Is it hard to get out of the crock pot? Do you cook it in another vessel and then put it in the crockpot?

Hi Debbie; I posted this note from Judy Haines for you.

Hello Wall N.J. from Walls Ms.
Mix in a bowl--pour into crock pot then continue with the rest of the ingredients.
Yes it can be a burger to clean sometimes. I am going to try Pam baking spray next time.
I have the liners but didn't want to test it at the rally.

Thanks, Judy
