Pressure relief valve on hot water tank leaks

Has anyone had any issues with a pressure relief valve, on the water tank? I notice on mine, it drips a little when it's firing. I'm hoping it's just a matter of the release lever, and getting it just in the right position. It's not leaking where it's screwed into the tank, it's just from where the water is meant to come out when and if you relieve some of the pressure. ????

As listed in the other link...
Turn off the power to the Hot Water Heater... both the shore power switch and or the 12 volt switch for the gas to heat the water.
Shut off the water supply to the RV.
Open the pressure relief valve while having a Hot water valve open in the RV.
This will allow water to drain out of the hot water tank.
Once the water flow has slowed down, close the pressure relief valve.
Close the hot water valve inside the RV.
Tturn on the Water Supply to the RV.
Turn on the Water Heater Switch to heat the water.

Reason it leaks a little while the water is getting hot:
The water is expanding & there is NO room to Expand because the tank was completely filled with water.
It needs a little air space in the tank to expand.
