Roof info

I am the new owner of a North Tail 26RKS. My trailer does not have a ladder. Does anyone know if I can walk on the roof?

Congrats! I walked on mine just today. I do not have an attached ladder either, I use my home ladder and get up there easily. Twice a year I wash the roof make sure everything is nice and tight (screws / radio ant. / coax connectors etc.), take off the A/C cover and remove mud dobber nest, and check all the sealant to make sure it's good. Just be careful when washing, it gets slippery!

Thanks for the info. That is what I plan on doing only getting up there to clean and inspect.

I wear wet socks (they are rubber soled slip ons, not actually socks) when up there. They are grippy and won't damage the roof.

North Trails roofs are plenty tough. A factory rep told us 5-10 people shouldn't be any problem. As long as nothing (like a chair leg) punctures the roof or rips the rubber roof it's covered by the warranty.
