Hey guys....we'll be leaving Loveland, CO the weekend before the rally heading to Gillette. Mapquest suggests we take rt 59 out of Douglas, straight north to Gillette. Is this a good route pulling a 39 ft Bighorn, or should we stick to the interstate?? Thanks in advance....

I've been getting a lot of PM's about RT59. I haven't been on it myself but if it's anything like other secondary roads in Wyoming it is a two lane paved road with shoulders in some spots and none in others. The speed limit will be 55 MPH for the most part, you will be slowing down to pass through small "towns" and you'll also go through Thunder basin National Grasslands (a little touch of Dance's with wolves). Cell service will be sketchy at best. If it were me I'd take it. Below is a must have link for travel in Wyoming. Hope this helps.

Thanks! that's what I needed...kinda figure it can't be any worse than rt 14 over the Bighorns, and we did that without any problems....
