We purchased a 2008 3600RL in may of 2008. The remote controls for the LCD tv and the fireplace don't work all the time. You have to push the button several times and even push sideways on to get it to work. I've changed the batteries and still no better. Is it possible they are corroded for storage or something. Is there a fix, thanks Steven J.

I feel that the fireplace remote has a very short range. As for the Olevia remote, it seems at times to not change channels and then will jump 2 next time you press the the channel up or down button. I am still trying to get the code so my direct tv remote will work on the Olevia.

I discovered why my Olevia remote wasn't working after picking up my trailer. The safety/tie down strap covers the "eye" and keeps the remote from working. Unbuckle the strap and Bingo it works! A little embarasssing even though I was alone.
