We're in San Antonio and have to agree...sure glad the dual panes and 2 a/c's were available way back in '08...LOL!! Also think that, even though they are noisy at times, slide toppers add an extra layer of insulating air space above the slides and help to keep the slide areas cooler inside....

Yep, we have the slide toppers as well. We get shade starting about 4:30 P.M. which helps too. Leaving here July 1st to head North, then back to Florida in September.
