I am looking for the same thing. Amazon had one for around fifty bucks that you mount on the pole, but it said it was only good for six or seven hours. If somebody knows of one please let us know. I saw one at a rally in Spring (Tom and Marti), but haven't been able to find the same one.

This is the one that Tom has (3 rechargeable batteries). I have the first generation light which only has 2 rechargeble batteries - it doesn't put off as much light but stays illuminated for about 7-8 hrs.
The ones w/ only 2 batteries are still availabe on ebay for $34 shipped from China (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Solar-Power...080?pt=UK_Garden_Lighting&hash=item2a10a59f30). I ordered this one and received it within 7 days.

We got this light from Flag Pole Buddy. Does a pretty decent job of illuminating the flag without keeping the neighbors awake. Puts a nice lighted zone right at the rear of the rig.

Hmm. Tried to add some photos of ours in action but it appears we've been mucking with the forum again. Don't seem to want to add in.

My web page says it is available?????? But I am easily confused...

The wonders of technology! It shows "In Stock" if I go to the link via my computer. If I go to the same link via my (not always so) Smartphone, it shows "Not available at this time"!

Hi Peg & Mike ! Went to Menard's today and they had a Westinghouse solar light and a Patriot solar light ! I bought the Patriot because it said 100 lumen's and 4 led's and the other didn't say ! Of course i don't know why that would matter because i don't have a clue what a lumen is ! Anyway the Patriot one was 29 something ! I will have to wait till it get's dark to see if it work's ! Will let you know !

Hey Peg & MIke ! Well it's dark out and i'm pleasantly surprised that the little light is lighting up the flag pretty good for a 29 dollar light ! Don't know if you have Menard's in Tx. or not but it's worth looking into ! I'm not saying it's gonna be as bright as a light you would plug in but i'm happy !

I agree with this choice. We have been using it for three years now and have had excellent service from it. The only thing I have done on a yearly basis is to clean off the solar sensor cover lightly using steel wool, and apply 303. The FL sun does a number on things, including keeping the batteries charged! The light is very visible and lasts all night, with the exception of winter time when it lights for about 7 hrs before going dim. The batteries are still the originals too.

I am also looking for a flagpole light to use with my WONDERPOLE flag pole. Does anyone have a suggestion since most lights I have seen sit between the pole and the ball on top

I think this is the same light, but it is twenty plus dollars cheaper

Same box as mine, so you scored a savings. I think of it as helping to save the economy (unlike the Beltway bozos), one vendor at a time :(

You do know that I'm one of those Beltway Bozos??? :-(

Living in the Beltway is not the same as being elected to it. "Beltway Bozos" refers to the bums sitting in the marble halls of DC. I doubt many of them have a clue what a "RV" is. Probably try to get on the "Get Osama and Friends" bandwagon and think it's a "Recon Vehicle." As my refer magnet states, "Politics may not be the oldest profession, but the results are the same."

Are light is several colors that we got from Tweety's. Not very bright, but you will know where plumberdude is parked.
As we always say we glow at night being from New Mexico!

Well stated John! (BTW - I actually live about 20 miles south of the Beltway so I like to think I'm not too contaminated yet)
