North Trail - 31QBS - Help please, no 12v to water heater.

I am trying to figure out where the 12v power originates for the hot water heater. I am trying to troubleshoot a problem and a) have determined I have NO power to the control board (on water heater) and b) have 110v at the switch on the interior of the TT.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Hi wilson21157,

I'm not familiar with the NorthTrail layout, but I would expect you have a panel with 12V fuses and that one is for the water heater.

I think our water heaters have reset buttons on the outside. Might be covered by black rubber boots.

Another NorthTrail owner will probably have something to add shortly.

DOH...feel like a major idiot after spending a hot afternoon with a multimeter and pulling my hair out...dealer never told me about the PROPANE HOT WATER switch located on the monitor panel. We had only been using the electric element all along....

everything works well and got really hot, really fast.

Glad to hear it's cleared up. And who knows, this post about your experience may save someone else an afternoon in the hot sun.
