Matt, is this compatible with the Cradlepoint CTR 35? Or is this just for a phone.

It's not for use for the router, it will be for the device that you plug into the router. For example, if you've got a USB modem just pickup a USB extension then set your USB modem directly in the cradle then connect the extension into your CTR35.

I have a UML290 that I am using. But would it be able to connect between the 2? I guess that is really asking.

Yes, it would go like this - UML290 -> Sleek 4G -> USB Extension into UML290 (In Cradle) -> CTR35
