Does the 3795 hot water heater have a changeable thermostat? The hot water is too hot and I'm woried one of my kids is going to burn themselves.

If your water heater is a Dometic, it doesn't have a variable thermostat. Most people find that the water gets hotter using propane than it does using electricity. In either case, they usually don't get hot enough to create 3rd degree burns. The children may say ouch, but that would probably be the extent of it.

The piping in back of the heater is setup for winterizing, to bypass the heater. That same valve can be used as a mixing valve to mix cold water into the hot before it reaches the faucet.

If you want more info on this pm me.

I had the same concerns with my grandkids.
