Satellite Input in UDC

Hi all,
Have both the cable and satellite connection in the UDC of 2012 Elk Ridge 29 BHCK. But, the meatheads who dump the tanks for us broke off the covers for each. They are mounted side by side in the UDC. I think the satellite was on the inside and the cable on the outside. Does anyone know for sure or know how I can check? Just ordered a dish so we can bring our box from home. Thanks.

Just call Heartland customer service...They can help you out.

Use a 25 or 50 ft length of coax and an ohm meter. Hook one end of the coax to a connection in the UDC and bring the other end into the rig. Use the ohm meter to determine which connection you are at. Test for continuity at the amplified outlet with the power turned of to the amplifier. If you have continuity, you are hooked to the cable in, if not, you are hooked to the satellite in.

i think on my 2012 greystone the satelite is on the outside.
