Re: What Is The Jack behind DVD Playerfor?

Mike, the white one closest to the corner? I suggest it's to connect audio and video from the TV to the surround system. The red & white are phono style connectors for left and right audio from the tv to the surround ans the yellow should be video from the DVD to the TV Video in connection. On the TV you will have to change the "input" to something lake A/V or auxiliary to watch a DVD on the player. For sound from the TV you may have to turn off the TV speaker though the menu and set the surround receiver to aux in.
The black one with the larger hole looks like a 12 volt receptacle.(cigarette lighter type)

This feeds the LR TV remove the small plastic cover from the HDMI part and plug your device in. The other jacks feed audio or video to the same TV.
