Edge M21 Bathroom Ceiling Fan Project

Hi I am the recenty purchaser of an 2011 Edge M21. I built a ceiling fan for the bathroom using a two speed exhaust fan blower saved from an 1980s vintage microwave oven and some woodworking effort. This is 110 Volt powered plugs into the bathroom outlet or my 12V to 110V inverter. Draws 60 watts on low, 100 watts on high. I also bought a LUX Win100 programmable outlet thermostat to provide temp control. Total project cost for materials about $ 50 including the LUX.

While I was at it I took a inexpensive 8 AA battery opperated flourescent light ( 8 AA in series = 12 V) and modified it to be hard wired into the 12 V source at the fan, much cheaper than buying a purpose built one at Camping World. Much improves the light on the bath tub side of the bath room.
