Hole in Fiberglass

have a northtrail 26rks and inadvertently poked a 1.5" by 4" hole in the fiberglass exterior about 3" below the roof line and a few inches to the left of the left awning. How did it happen .. Lets just say it was a dumb move on my part.

I put some white duct tape to temporarily cover it but was wondering what to do to permanently fix it. The hole is fairly shallow and from what I can tell, the inside is fine

Thanks

You can buy do it yourself fiberglass repair kits at auto parts stores and you could make a workable water proof repair but you likely will not be happy with the appearance. I would get some professional advice unless the appearance is not an issue for you.

Either an auto body shop or a boat repair facility can make it good as new! We have a local guy "Capt'n Glass" that works wonders on fiberglass repairs. I am sure there is someone in your area too!

Best Wishes!
