Lake Huron Campground - Port Sanilac MI

Spent four nights in this newly opened campground. Owners have put a ton of money into this place. Features almost 400 sites, plus 25 cabins. It has a 20 acre lake with swimming and non-motorized rental only watercraft, plus a swimming pool. Office building has a pretty extensive camp store with fresh baked goods and a pizza/ice cream parlor.

Close to the office is a banquet hall and in the next building, an arcade/fitness room/grill.

Most sites are full hookup pullthroughs, although there are rustic and water/electric on a few. Some sites even have concrete pads.

Our price for a pullthrough with full hookups was $33.30 after a 10% GSC discount.

Great steakhouse/saloon about a block north of the campground entrance. There was a golf course about a half mile south with dining and drinks, but we did not try it.

Only place for breakfast was Mary's Diner in Port Sanilac, about 5 miles south of the campground (for those of us who think kitchens are a waste of space in a 5er).

We're headed there the last weekend of September. Thanks for the report. We have to try out our new Sundance, and that will be our second trip after picking it up last Thursday.
