HL Customer Service 'Attaboy'

In a couple of other threads, HL has been taking it on the chin (some of it deserved) so I thought I would post a positive experience.

I was rewiring the electrical cabinet in the trailer and I broke the double slide switch (dummy me ). Called Terry Hayes in parts at HL who has been a big help in the past. Gave him my last 6 of the VIN and he asked I shoot him a couple pictures of the switch.

Bad news-they no longer use this switch for the LM.
Good news-he found one in the plant and it is on its way the very next day.

Cost of the switch- .85 cents.
Shipping- $9.00
Getting a new switch-priceless.

I did find the same switch on Tweetys, the cost was $31.00. Ouch!

Thanks Terry and HL Customer Service for your help.

Maybe next time you should consult Tim the "Tool Man' Taylor. Isn't he the master of re-wiring?

I have dealt with Mr. Hayes a few times in the past. Very nice guy. He has always been very helpful and gone out of his way to help me. Also found out he has some family here in North Carolina.

I've not had many experiences with Heartland's service, but it has always been outstanding. That is truly one of the strengths of the company.
