Just watched an infomercial on this product or should I say sealant. Has anyone used this sealant on their RV?

In what area of the RV would you use this stuff.
I have seen it on TV.

Well they have it in white now and was thinking if it could work if there was a roof leak.

I wouldn't use it. I'm pretty sure it's petroleum based. I just don't see a need for it. There are plenty of proven products available...Don

Sandie, you can buy the same stuff from 3M. Its called "paintable undercoating" and costs about $4 bucks a can. I hope you don't believe that it will keep a boat with screen door on the bottom from sinking.

I had a small leak in a very tight place and I was on vacation, so looking for a quick fix to get me home I tried a can. It worked on a water pipe joint and is still holding but I sure wouldnt put it on a EPDM roof. There are plenty of good products to fix roof leaks with whether its a torn place or a seam. The seam can use the Crawling sealer used by automotive shops and it goes anywhere.
