I would find it hard to believe that nobody else has had this problem.
The bag or pouch that the air mattress fits into when tucked away in the couch is made out of very thin material. We had the occasion to use our guest bed for the first time about 1 month ago. When we unfolded the couch to set up the air mattress we found the bag that holds the mattress torn and ripped in 4 different places. It was no longer attached to the frame. With all the bouncing around that the RV goes through when traveling, well it just proved to be too much for the thin material.
My wife took the time to make a pretty nice quality bag to replace the old one. She used a more rugged material for the actual bag and also fabricated a strap system to hold everything securely to the frame.
Not a big deal at all but thought I might mention it before someone's mattress gets a hole in it from rubbing on the couch frame.
