Great campground Eric! Don't know if we can make this but we will put it on the back burner for now!

I hear this is a great camp ground unfortunately we will have to see if we can swing it a lot going on in 2013 for us - trip to Italy, Senior Prom and gradulation all in a few months of each other and some are around this time but we will keep it near the calendar in case it works out. Congrats on your first rally!

Well, if we have escaped FL by that time next year we'll certainly try and make the rally. Transplanted West Virginians are allowed, right?

It would not be much of a rally if Hillsonwheels didn't attend, besides Florida will be hot and sticky by then. So glad to see such a positive initial response about a rally more than 8 months away. We have 9 rigs already showing interest and we haven't yet even started to smell fresh pumpkin pie and hear the giggles of spooky ghosts and goblins seeking treats. Heartlander's LOVE to rally. Sorry that so many of you have same addiction I have, but that means the rallyholic meetings will be well attended.;)

Eric and Dorothy;

Count us in. If we are verticle by then, we'll be there. Can you teach us how to eat blue crabs efficiently? I've never been able to grasp that well enough to get filled up.

The key is to drink enough beer to offset the old bay seasoning!

Who ever of getting full of steamed crab? As our esteemed rallyholic president sez, " Eating crabs is a social event, not a production." ;) (or something like that) As Pete indicated, beer and old bay seasoning are essential! So is good company!

I am putting this on our calendar. Sure hope we will be able to make this one. Will firm up as soon as I can.
All our best to you....

My wife and I just went to Tall Pines with two other couples. They have extra long pull through sites and easy to maneuver back in sites as well. There are a couple (about 5 or 6) right on the water elect and water only near water. Most of the other sites are full hook ups with cable.

The staff there was very friendly and helpful. You are 30 minutes from Chincoteague Island, Assateague Island National Seashore, NASA Wallops Island Flight Center. If you have bikes bring them there are some really nice trails in the parks. We are actually going back again November 1st to the 4th. Its about a 70 mile ride North of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and 10 miles from the Maryland border on Rt 13.

I would be glad to answer any questions you have about the camp ground.

I do have a question regarding the Chapter Rally since I have never attended one. What can I expect at the Rally and who will be there?

thanks,

John

Hello John and Jodi,
When we bought our Heartland 5th wheel we knew we had bought an excellent product. We did not know it included
wonderful people and lots of fun times. From the very first rally we attended we felt "included." No matter what rally
we go to, some things are always the same... lots of nice folks, lots of great food. (The pot-luck dinners and group
breakfasts are not to be missed!) Some things are different - some have many "organized" events, others are more
"on your own" with evening get-togethers around a campfire.
For each rally the Chapter Leader will write a description of events so you will have an idea of what will be happening.

Please come to the rally and join the Heartland Family, I don't think you will be disappointed.
I hope this helps answer your question.

Drove thru/by Tempranceville today on our way south from DE. A little too early for us to know we'll be at that time but sure will try to attend.

Just saw the VA Rally date and will put it on our to-do list and calendar for next year. Will be setting down with the calendar and forum Rally schedule to set up next years events soon!
