I don't know about other tree sap, but the sap from my mesquite tree ate through the 303 and color layer of my decal so now it is streaked. Since I have no other place to store my TT, I now cover the front. I thought I had it pretty well protected because I have been applying 303 every month or so because of the sun. (Getting rid of the tree is out of the question)
