View Full Version : 2013 Goshen Rally - Dates and Sites

09-27-2012, 03:44 PM
*Pre-Rally Dates:
June 11-17

Rally Dates:
June 18-23

Another rally (DRV - Suites) precedes ours and ends on Saturday. Our rally begins with a full-slate on Tuesday the 18th. Rally Service work begins on Monday the 17th. This gives us Sunday and Monday to get everyone moved onto their rally sites.

Rally Sites:
Because the other rally will be occupying most of our rally sites during our Pre-Rally period, we will pre-rally in an area where some of our rally attendees will be sited, with temporary power (30 amp) and water hookups. Your Pre-Rally site rate will include a pump-out service that will come every few days (schedule to be determined). Some of you, based on when you signed up, will end up on one of these Pre-Rally sites as your actual Rally site. So for some, you will likely not have to relocate like others will have too.

Rally Sites:
We will have about 200+ full-hookup (mostly 30 amp and some 50 amp) sites and up to 100 power (30 amp) and water (no sewer) sites. Pricing will be the same for all sites. Sites without sewer will include a pump-out service that will come every few days (schedule to be determined).

Site Allocation:
Attendees of the 2011 Goshen Rally who are current club members at time of registration will be offered their 2011 rally site for 2013. Once the early registration window for returning 2011 attendees is closed, the window for all current club members opens. Through a combination of accommodating group siting requests from Chapter Leaders and taking note of rally registration dates from others, all sites will be allocated to the best of our ability.

* Pre-Rally:
Pre-Rally time is a lot of fun. It gives attendees a chance to come in early (as much as 7 days) and take in area sights, cuisine, culture and more. It also gives them a chance to get settled and relax before the big event! Finally, by getting the majority of rally attendees in town early, it allows them to be available for two other things:

Opening day for the rally (Tuesday the 18th) - which will have a full slate of seminars and such
Day 1 of Rally Service work. We can never guarantee we can get to all who signed up for service work. But if you are available for the work to be done at 8am on Monday the 17th, you are in a great position to be taken care of

Please visit the rally discussion thread (//heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/32122) to discuss this rally or to post questions about it.

Thank you and see you in Goshen!
