? About covering 5th wheel or not covering

I'm torn as to whether to cover our 5th wheel or not. I have heard that some people get rub marks from the cover & one person even got a hole in his roof. I really would like to protect it from the elements but not at the expensive of these mentioned problems. I was wondering what some of your experiences are? I live in northern NJ so it would be exposed to snow. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is some info on covers in the October issue of Good Sam's Highways magazine. It's in a Q&A format and appears to be sponsored by ADCO RV covers but it maybe helpful. I'll see it I can copy it and post later (maybe I'll get lucky and someone will beat me to it):).

I actually posted a poll on this forum and the input was clear: Do not use a cover. I was in doubt as to whether or not to use one, in fact I bought one and later returned it (unopened) based on feedback from others.
