changes to M17 fresh water tank drain

Just finished second season with 2011 M17. Has anyone come up with way to drain fresh water tank without going under camper?

I think I will remove the drain valve at the tank, replace it with a 90deg and run pex out to the edge of the trailer. I'll put the valve there and a hanger that it can be snapped into. Then when I want to drain it I''ll unsnap it, let it hang down and open the valve.
