Hi Waybeck,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There's a lot of useful information here along with a bunch of friendly and helpful people.

At the top of the page, you'll find tabs for the Owners Club, and also for Events. The Events tab drops down a list of all the get togethers around the country. Looks like the next Alabama rally is next April. Depending on how far you want to drive, there could be other rallies that would appeal.

The Owners Club tab will take you to a form that allows you to join the club. Joining allows you to attend any local or regional rally at no charge and gives a discount for the National Rally which will be in Goshen, IN in June - not too far from Alabama. The membership fee is a pretty good deal as it covers the cost of your membership kit, and covers 3 years of membership. When your deal finalizes, you'll need to get the Vin# on your San Antonio in order to join the club.

Welcome again and feel free to browse the forum and ask any questions you might have.

Thank you very much for the mail. We look forward to becoming a member and will definitely join. Our salesperson is at a show out of town and we are waiting for his return before finalizing. Had to find a F-250 first since we have a Class A right now. Has your Landmark proved to be satisfactory? We hope to ebcome full timers by the end of 2013 and that is part of the reason we chose the Heartland (Landmark San Antonio). Thanks again.

We've had our Landmark for just over 2 years and have spent 313 nights in it and have towed it about 24,000 miles. We love the Rushmore floor plan and feel comfortable staying in it for months at a time. We've been comfortable down to 30 below zero in the winter, and up to 108 degrees in the summer.

One thing I'd suggest, if you haven't got the F-250 yet, get an F-350. The additional payload capability is a better match for a Landmark.

Hope all goes well on your Landmark!! We live just south of Birmingham - in Alabaster. We just purchased a Key Largo August 28 from Camping World in Calera. Since then we've spent 22 nights in it and have traveled 2,200 miles. It's been 100% trouble free and we've enjoyed every minute. We joined the HOC and are planning to attend the AL/MS rally in April at Gulf Shores State Park. Hope to see you there!!

Welcome, Waybeck!! The Talley's are just a bit on further south from you! We, also, are in the process of working towards full time. Hope to see you at the Spring Rally in Gulf Shores.
