Hi, We just brought home our new Big Horn 3055, my husband wants to know what kind of jack is good for how much this weighs? He wants a jack that is easy to operate, what kind do most people use on their heavy fifth wheels?
Thanks, Maria
I use a 12 ton bottle jack and a 6 x 8 wood block. Read the manual or do a search on the forum about jacking. Don't jack on the axels. They are light weight and will bend.
Like JP said a 12 ton bottle jack will do the job. If you have shop air, opt for the air / hydraulic bottle jack. It will be your friend and saves on the arm power. Just place and hold the up button. It is well worth the extra $
Yes, "shop air" is compressed air. To use the air option, you will need compress air. The bottle jack I refer to is both air and manual. So it works good for at home or on the road
