Here's a recent tech bulletin/recall on the EU2000. It gives instructions on how to check and rectify the issue.

Thanks, it worked fine. Just checked both of mine and they are a couple of years old so they weren't affected, but thanks for the heads up. Mike

Honda Inverter Generator recall

I have not seen this posted here. Honda has recalled a substantial number of it's very popular eu2000I inverter generator. Here is the link:

I just checked the pair I bought in July of 2010 and they were well below the affected serial number range.

Thanks for the reminder. I took mine in on Monday and forgot all about it...I'll give them a call today to see where they are at on fixing it!
