propane tank for Sundance

We just purchased a 2013 Sundance and wanted to get any information about hooking up a 250 gal propane tank. We live away from town and don't want to constantly be filling up the small ones that came with the RV.

It can be done. It's best to have the local propane company do the work. Chances are good you'll need an adapter for the piping from the tank to connect to the trailer connection.

250 gallon is a big tank. Our 40# tanks each hold about 4.5 gallons. I use a 100# tank when skiing - can last about a week. The local propane company made a 12' hose for me with the right connectors. You can buy off-the-shelf hoses like Extend-a-Stay, but you have to get the right one - some are made for motor coach tanks and have a different fitting at the coach end.
