Light in exhaust fan over stove

The light is so dim, it is only good to use as a night light. It certainly does no good in lighting up anything brewing on the stove.

Has anyone replaced the bulb with a higher wattage - or ???

Thanks for any help on this one.

We use the lite just for what you mentioned, a nite lite. Gotta be careful because even though it is low watt it was touching the lens on ours when we picked it up and it had melted most of the way thru the plastic and was beginning to burn.
