So now that the date is set....here's the deal.

As always we will have a meet-N-greet on Friday nite.

On saturday, we will have the normal pot luck. Bring what you want or what you normally do. I think this time the club should supply tri-tip and BBQ chicken. I know that we can get people to help cook this. Marty?? This time you can post what you are bringing if you want to or just bring what you want. As we all know, there is more food than anyone can eat.

After the pot luck we will have the raffle and if we have enough people we will have a 50-50 drawing. As always we will have Ryan (Larry and Jodi's son) draw the tickets. He has lucky fingers. For the newbies, a raffle prize is anything that is $10-15, unwrapped and RV related or not. Games, bottles of wine are always good. After all you are in Temecula and their are lots of "wino's" in wine country.

If some of you want to fish...bring your stuff or go check out the wineries and old town Temecula. It's about a 15 minute drive from the CG to either. We will set up the tables and E-Zups like last time. So if you just want to hang out and talk....knock your self out. BTW Larry, this year we will have our own lites and thanks again for letting us use them last year:

I'm sure that Patty will have some pasteries and stuff for Sunday morning.

Larry and George, thats what I thought and posted. I also am getting emails from people that say they can post. Maybe they are new and cant post yet.

People, please lets get the date set and then make reservations. But maybe the date for the 1st weekend in April will work for everyone. It will work for us.

BTW, I guess the new link I posted is working for everybody now?

My son will be visiting from April 4th till the 15th and I am planning on leaving for the Northeast Regional Rally in Gettysburg between the 18th and 30th so the entire month of April is out for me. Any time in March would work better. Otherwise, see you all in Goshen in June and Temecula in Sept.

Larry....YEP....I though I was going to take that site. But I did not sign up for it yet....cause I did not know what date the rally was yet. Oh well "no harm no foul". It will all work out.

NOW, are we going to say that the 5th thru the 7th is now the official date??? If it is, then we all need to reserve our sites...I guess.

Chris and Carol,

As both Julie and I mentioned in our emails with you, you are welcomed with open arms at all Chapter Rallies. Not sure why you don't want to continue to enjoy your friends at these rallies. Please reconsider.

Thanks,

Hello Jim,
Carol and I have been large supporters of the Heartland brand. We loved our coach and reccomend the brand to everyone we meet looking to buy a 5th wheel or trailer. When we camp we display our HOC plague along with our CCFMCA and FMCA plaques because of the Heartland brand. We receive this as a slap in the face for being loyal the the Heartland brand. This being said, when we are spoken to about rv brands we will only recomend the Fleetwood brand because that is what we own. Heartland was very good to us during the time we owned our rig. Thank you for that.[

We had a great time at Lake Skinner last time (and we got a great deal on wheels and tires ;-), so we will try again for the next rally. Have fun!

Hi Bob and Patty and all other HOC members,
Greg and Rhonda will be at the Temecula Rally. We booked the site, 369, same one we had last time, in Feb. Our SOB friends, Doyle and Janice will be with us, site 370, like last time. Here's the story. We thought we might have to cancel this trip. We are both retired now, and March 7th, we listed our house for sale. We had open house for 4 days and the house sold 14 times. March 11, we picked the best offer of the bidding war and now,....we have to move. Rhonda and I are going to "full-time" in our "lil' darlin', and put the 2 Harley's in the toy hauler's garage and take off. We are excited and looking forward to our new adventure. We are going to make every motorcycle event around the country. Well we are far enough along with moving, so we can take a short break and meet everyone at Skinner. A 35 day escrow and should close around Apr. 12th. So we'll see y'all there.

Greg, wow, thats great. Our neighbors are selling their house and its the same thing. I guess from what we are being told that there is not any houses on the market for sale. So its now a sellers market.

hogwaii
03-21-2013, 06:36 PM
It's a sellers market at the moment. There is no inventory of good homes, and very few repo homes right now. Banks are holding back on putting too many homes on the market so as to drive up the price of their repo's. And us, selling our homes outright get to ride the wave. See you in Temecula. Looks like a new truck in your life. I'll check it out.

See you in Temecula. We are very excited about this next chapter of our life. Darrel, oops, I mean Doyle, now you got me doing it, has invited a friend of theirs. We'll have 2 SOB's with us. But, these are the nicest SOB's around.
Lookin' forward to Skinner and Mooooovin'. WoooHooo!!!

The last time, which was actually the first time, I saw you, I don't remember your truck being a 2013. I love trucks, drove the big rigs all my life, and I check out a man's truck. Ha, ha. Hey Bob, I think your putor needs some work, or you need a new putor along with that NEW truck. Ha, ha. he, he. Also, for the potluck, I'd like to bring corn on the cob. Our SOB's, Doyle and Janice will be at a family B-day on Saturday so will not attend the potluck. Doyle and Janice have 3 SOB's with them but nothing has been mentioned to them about a potluck, so I don't think they will be attending. I'm not sure what sites they are in, but they are all near us. I think in the sites right across from us.

Thanks Bob and Patty,
Had a great time with everyone at Lake Skinner. For those that left on Sunday, you picked the right day to leave. It was windy and rainy all day on Monday. We left Tuesday morning, stopped at the truck wash, got the rig spic and span again, and now brought the trailer to our house one last time to load the Harley's on to their new permenant home. Our escrow is closing on time, April 15th. We will be gone from here by the middle of next week. We are so ready to start this new chapter of our life,....full time RVing. We will be staying at CRA's Cherry Valley and Riverside County Park, Rancho Jurupa Regional Park. We will be in the Inland Empire area til July.
