Ebony woodwork

I am wonding if anyone here has the blck ebony woodwork. I am having a lot of problem with the wood trim's paper finish peeling off in sheets. Just bumping it with a vaccuum hose or a broom will cause it to come off. I was told to us a black felt marker the color the missing trim.

I am wondering if anyone has figured out a way to remove the paper finish easily so it can be painted.

It's kind of comical in a way because before we bought the unit, if you would have asked me if I would buy one with a black interior, I would have said, "absolutely not"! I actually like the look of it. However if some one were to ask me for advise about it, besides the peeling issure, dust shows terribly! =)

Love our 305 otherwise!

We have the black in our 415 but have not had any issues with it peeling. 3m makes some good spray adhesives you could try to re-secure the paper. 88 I think is the permanent formula.
