Just a thought here. Many people have gone to Wal-Mart and purchased a memory foam mattress pad. Some have purchased them on line.
They come in different thicknesses depending on what your needs are.

For starters, measure the mattress before shopping. Go Online and start searching for a mattress in the size needed. Keep in mind, a thicker mattress may not leave as much head room and adds weight. Overstock.com has great prices on mattress toppers. You might be able to buy a larger one and cut it to fit both bunks.

You might do a search on mattress and view the previous threads on this subject.

We measured the width the area where our bed goes. It was right at 72" and the normal RV King mattress is 80". We looked around for a place that made custom mattresses and had one made 71" x 80" 8" thick and was made only of natural foam rubber. No springs and none with formaldehyde in it. Works great for us.

We have a 2011 21FBS. I'm 6'4" and the mattress was both too short and too thin. We put a queen size memory foam on top but it's about 6" longer than the original and droops. I look forward to seeing how this comes out for you.

Depending on your floor plan, if there is room at the foot of the bed, there is a place that sells memory foam mattresses at a decent price.
A regular queen at 80", you should have room to spare. That is if there is room in your camper.
Lasting Impressions.

We bought the European inner coil mattress from camping world. We spent 4 months last year on it. Nearly as comfortable as our air bed at home.
