King bed making made easy

I just completed an inexpensive modification that takes most of the pain out of making the king bed in my BH.

The BH came with a particle board box lid on which the mattress lays. The particle board is rough and NO WAY would the mattress slide on it.

I purchased ($15) a remnant of vinyl flooring, selecting the slickest one they had. I lifted the mattress and installed this vinyl sheet on top of the particle board box, under the mattress.

Now the mattress slides easily allowing full access to the corners of the mattress. Now my wife can make the bed!

And if you put your head at the foot and your feet at the head it is a easy make also

I tried that but I keep on losing my pillow!
