Acrylic sink in kitchen, does it last?

I am loving the acrylic sink in the kitchen. I have found it very easy to clean and have found no need to bleach or scrub it at all. I used to do my old porcelain sink about 4 times a week.

My question is for all of you that have owned one longer than we have,,, how long does it stay this great? Right now, it is almost too good to be true, lol. I am assuming that over time it will get scratched, etc,,,,

Thanks in advance, Elizabeth

We use a rubber mat in the smaller side and have a sink rack that we got at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It fits the larger side perfectly and has a hole in the middle to get the strainer in and out. It really saves the sinks from getting scratched.

I should have done what John did because mine looks terrible. I told my wife that's why she should do all the dishes from now on as I wrecked the sink, but it didn't work.

After a year of fulltiming ours is still like new. A little scotchbrite on occasion helps keep it that way.:D
