Low Fat Biscuits.

Ingredients:
2 cups self rising flour
1 cup of milk (can use low fat)
1/3 cup canola oil

Directions:
Pre heat oven 450 degrees
Put all the ingredients; use only ½ of the oil, into a large bowl.
Stir ingredients with a fork, mixing gentle and well, mix until all the dough flows the fork around the bowl.

Dump the dough onto a floured counter.
Pat the dough very gently until you have the desired thickness about 1/2 inch.
Cut with a biscuit cutter (jar lid works well)
Put the remaining oil in a shallow bowl, cut a biscuit and dip into the oil, and place onto the pan. Cut another, dip and place on top of the oiled biscuit. After cutting several biscuits, you will need to re-fold the dough and re-pat then cut…place. You should end up with 8-10 double decker biscuits.

Bake 10 to 20 in. until golden brown on top
