Garage Electric Bed......

OK, the first time we raised the thing, the mattress was off center and took one of the valances off the window. It was relatively easy to put back in place. Memo to self, MAKE SURE MATTRESS IS CENTERED BEFORE OPERATING BED.

However, after watching all this it became painfully clear that with the upper bed at sleeping height ANY pillow or foot activity would trash the valance and/or the blinds on either end as they were "in bed"..... Bad plan.

So see attached. Of course it's stained to match the decor, and there is another one on the other side. They jam the mattress in place and cover the valances and blinds. Yes, you have to remove them (and make sure that the mattress is CENTERED) before raising the bed.

All in all it's a major improvement.....
