Reception in Canada

Hello,
My wife and I are planning a trip this summer that will be taking us up through Michigan for a few weeks and then up into Canada (the Montreal and then Quebec area).

My question is, we have a "Dish Tailgator" and I was wondering if we will encounter any reception problems while we are in Canada? Also, do I have to notify "Dish" about my location and/or intentions? We'll be in Canada for 2 or 3 weeks.

Thank you
Dick

I haven't had any problems while staying in southern Ontario, you may need to enter state information on set up, just use something very close to the border. The tailgater will do the rest. If you get as far as Timmins then you will need to be creative and still may receive only a few channels if any depending on location and trees. You don't need to contact dish.
