slide covers

I am purchasing a Sundance 2890BHS and the dealer wants to install a slide cover that will extend and retract as the slide operates. Will this in any way void any type of warranty from Heartland.

No - in fact - I ordered mine with this option from the factory which was cheaper than the dealer installed ones. From what I have heard, this is a big markup area for dealers.

Since Heartland offers them as options on their other coaches I would say that this would not void your warranty. It is a very common thing to do. As for ours, we really like the slide topper awnings.

We ordered our Cyclone with the factory slide awnings too. I agree that adding these after market (if installed properly) should not void any warranty.

I wish the factory would offer them as an option on the Sundance so we don't have to pay that little bit extra to have the dealer install them. My dealer did make me a good deal on mine, but I'd still rather had them installed at the factory.

I had them install 3 on my Sundance and I'd never go back to not having them.
