Slides in or out when parked?

We just got our New Big Horn 3610RE and are thrilled and excited - this may seem a dumb question but, we're 5th wheel virgins and we have to start somewhere. We slept in it over the weekend and it was fun. Now that it may be parked for a few weeks before we take our first trip which is best for the RV - slides in or slides out?

Congrats on your new 3610RE. My bro has one and I like the floor plan
I think it is just a matter of what you prefer.
Some people prefer to bring the slides in and other leave them extended.
Ours are out all the time. Well, other then when we are towing.

Peace
Dave

We leave our slides in while in storage, but we sometimes have them out for months at a time while using the rig.

I think it is more weathertite, and the heavy slides are better supported, with the slides in. Also, it is good training in doing the interior slide walk around before bringing in the slides. I caught mine (again) 2 times yesterday while working on the rig. No major damage, just needs a little glue on the slide facia.
