Outback Power Inverter Charger

Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with Outback Power inverter/chargers? I have been doing a lot of research and these seem to be pretty solid. I am looking at the VFX 2812. It is a ventilated 2800 watt 12V inverter with a 4 stage 125 amp charger w/ auto transfer. The specs are pretty impressive (90% efficiency) and from what I can read, the engineers are former Xantrex employees. They are made in the USA

Good question. My RV parts guy told me they were the best. I was buying a Magnum MS when he told me about them. I tried to find out the same info with no avail. I did notice they were cheaper in the US than the MS. My guy told me they were way more than the MS. Not sure. I did read they were noisy though. Maybe I should buy one and test it LOL

Wehave friends living off the grid in Baja who are very happy with their Outback systerms.
