I am looking for a wireless hot spot (jet pack). Has any one had any experience with Millenicom? Here is their web site for plans ... http://millenicom.com/plans/
Yes, we sell Millenicom service to lots of RV'ers across the country. They use the Verizon network on the MiFi 4620L package and offer the same identical coverage, but you pay them monthly ($69.99/mo for 20GB of data). You can read more about it here or call 866-347-8673 - http://3gstore.com/product/4085_millenicom_jetpack_4620le_with_router_configuration.html
Please note - The $15 difference includes a router setup fee, if you plan to get a router to go with it. Otherwise you can opt to get just the equipment and service for $149.99
Not sure what a jet pack is but we use AT&T hot spot when we travel. It allows our computers to network as well as print to our wireless printer. We also hook our IPAD to it. The device can connect 5 devices.
Of course your locations will dictate supplier. We mainly travel he southeast and always have 4G LTE coverage.
We've had the Millenicom jetpak for about seven months now and we are very pleased. It has been rare when we didn't have a 4G connection but it switches back and forth if the service is available. We bought the device outright and pay the monthly $69.99 but we no longer have a 20GB limit to our account; Millenicom switched it to a unlimited account and we continue to pay the $69.99 a month. The jetpak works as a router as well because it will handle 5 devices at once so our two laptops and WiFi printer all work as one.
