We knew this day would come and to be honest, we thought it would have been much sooner. Our Suzi almost made her 16th birthday. Her hearing was gone and her vision was very limited. I think this is the first pet we’ve ever lost to old age. Lin & I took her to the vet this morning and I held her close and she fell into a deep sleep.
Suzi has touched many lives during her years, our motorcycle friends our neighbors and our RVing friends. Everyone always remembered her. She will be missed by many.

Ray and Lin,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss of your beloved Suzi. What a good dog she was. We know all too well how the loss of a fur kid feels.

Sorry to hear that Suzi has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was a great fur kid and know she will be missed. We will always remember Suzi and when we stayed at the Cozy Inn in 2009...

God Bless

Ray and Lin, I am so sorry to hear the news. We lost our 15-year-old Dalmatian just a month ago. Our pets give so much and ask so little in return. May you meet again at the rainbow bridge.

Saddened to hear your news about Suzi but know what wonderful times you shared in 16 years together. Keep the warm memories close to your hearts in the days ahead.

Thanks for all the kind sentiment. It'll be rough for a little while but we are good with the fact she's in a better place. Today was better than yesterday for sure.
Being with our Heartland Family over the next couple of weeks will keep us busy too. Leaving in the morning for a little caravan through the U.P. and a Casino stop in Manistee.

Ray and Lin,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Those of who travel with 4 llegged friends know they are part of the family and leave a huge void when one of "our children" leaves us. We all know the day is coming but we are never truely prepared for it. Know that you have many friends to share your loss with.

Sorry to hear about Suzi we have went through this and they really are family. Our Daisy is going to be 17 this fall and I know our time with her is getting short. Take care and know she's running and playing like a puppy again.

It doesn't take long for these furry friends to worm their way into our hearts. After several years it can be like loosing a family member and one you will never forget. I still think about my bird dog who died in 1978.
