Problem with decals turning loose on slideouts and rubber molding turning loose

We just returned from our first 2 week trip in our new Torque 291. After two days of travel, noticed that the decals on the metal frames of the slide outs are turning loose and peeling off. Also had serious issues with rubber molding on both undersides of the cap area coming loose and flapping in the wind....had to stop several times and finally duct taped them in place to stop the problem while on our trip. It seems that the narrow rubber molding is too short and "pops" out of the tracks of the inverted curved corner of the cap on both sides. Have others had this same problem??? What is our best solution? We bought the fifth wheel in Indiana factory ordered in December. We live in Texas. Thought we'd ask the factory what the best solution to these problems are, and if others are having the same issues, to bring it to your attention. Any solutions we can perform ourselves, would be appreciated. It is quite a haul to the nearest dealer in our area, and we are not wanting to be without the trailer for an extended period. Thanks! dmfritsche

Re: Problem iwth decals turning losing on slideouts and rubber molding turning loose

dmfritsche,

If you decide to get the warranty work done at a dealership, Camper Clinic II in Buda isn't too far from you. I also bought in Elkhart but had most of my warranty work done at Camper Clinic II.

Thanks for the information! We are probably going to wait until fall to take it in. But am glad to hear that Camper Clinic II in Buda has been a good place for your service work. We will probably try there first. dmfritsche

I'm sorry to hear that. Shouldn't be having problems like that so soon.
