Dont be lazy, let the air out!

I always leave my tires aired up to 80 lbs. because between hauling the truck camper and pulling the fiver adjusting the air was a PITA. Coming home I visited my buddy in Crown King, AZ. 30 miles of the nastiest dirt road you have ever driven. Takes over an hour to make the trip. After I got there with my teeth jarred out I decided it was time to air down. I went to 65 lbs. and set the Ranchos on zero to the rear and 3 on the front. Wow! What a difference. Made the trip back to the highway much more bearable and it drove down the freeway like a Cadillac! Don't be lazy like me. Air 'em down when you are down hauling.

You are right Chopper, my tire guy explained this to me some years back when I drove a Suburban and towed several types of trailers. The ride is better and you actually get a few more miles out of the rubber.
