I like going to Ventura on my way to Pismo beach, Ca.. You can over night stay at the Ventura Rv resort, Emma woods state beach, or stay for the day right next to the ocean..

I haven't stayed there yet but Emma Woods State Beach is really nice. I did stay at Ventura Beach RV Resort once and will never stay there again. It is NOT on the beach but about a block inland and on the other side of the train tracks. The grounds were nice but the staff was horrible. Even thou I informed them at the time that I made my reservation that my brother and his wife were going to join me for one night of my weeks stay, and confirmed at the time I checked in that my brothers vehicle was the second vehicle, and verified with security that my brother would not have to pay $10 to park on my site, the young lady at the front at the time of his arrival insisted that my brother's vehicle was a third vehicle, counting my tow vehicle and the 5th wheel as two vehicles and forced him to pay. She even threatened to have his vehicle towed if he didn't pay. I asked her to call a supervisor and she refused.

Yikes, I could see that from what I ran into when we stayed there a few days at the end of our trip. . Girl at the counter argued with me about my 42 trailer being able to fit in this little space with a tree halfway in it, she followed me over there and I had to prove her wrong by showing her. . But I still like the location near the downtown and fairgrounds. ..

Those pictures I great, I don't know why you'd want to leave. Too bad real life has a nasty habit of getting in the way.
