I have a Heartland Sundance 2800. I want to purchase a generator. I am thinking of the Honda EU3000IS. I want to run a few lights, microwave, TV, computer, furnace. Do you recommend this generator or another one?

For what your wanting the 2000i would do that. I have a honda 2000i and a honda 2000 companion and only use one unless I am running the AC, then I run them both, hooked together with the parallel cable.

The furnace runs off the battery, and uses quite a bit of battery power. So you'll have to use the generator to keep a good charge on the battery. And you'll need a battery that's in good condition.

I have a 3000 watt. Love it and the wireless remote starter. I don't have to leave the 5th wheel to start or stop the generator. I don't think the 2000 watt generators have a remote starter option.
